In 1975, filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola ("The Godfather" trilogy, "Apocalypse Now") purchased 1,560 acres of vineyards (originally part of the Inglenook winery) in California's Napa Valley and began producing wines under the Niebaum-Coppola name. He acquired more of the original owner's land as his fame grew, eventually renaming his tract the Rubicon Estate Winery in 2006. He changed his estate's name (yet again) to Inglenook in 2011 to reflect the land's history.
Actress Drew Barrymore launched Barrymore Wines at the end of 2012, but they currently only offer one Pinot Grigio. "Drew Barrymore has created this wine in honor of her family. Her travels throughout Italy inspired her to create a Pinot Grigio that she enjoys with family and friends," reads the a statement on the company website.
In 1999, musician Dave Matthews purchased the historic Blenheim farm in Charlottesville, Virginia. A year later, the property became the Blenheim Vineyards, which Matthews still currently owns.

Mario Andretti has retired from racing cars, but he's still busy at the Andretti Winery in Napa, California. He first became interested in wine after tasting the local varieties during his travels, and after retiring in 1994, he founded the his very own winery along with Joe Antonini, the former CEO of Kmart.
SNL alum Dan Aykroyd is part owner of winemakers Diamond Estate, which markets its very own line of Dan Aykroyd Wines. He's also one of the developers behind Crystal Head Vodka, which is frequently found behind the bar in a glass skull-shaped bottle.
According to the official website, Mike Ditka Wines were developed specifically for the menu at the beloved football coach's Ditka's steakhouses. He formed a partnership with Bill Terlato, of Terlato Wines, to offer such wines as "The Hall of Famer" Pinot Noir and "The Coach" Cabernet Sauvignon, which are now available at other retailers.
Emilio Estevez planted 800 grapevines on his lawn with the help of Sonja Magdevski, his then-fiancee, and soon renamed the place Casa Dumetz. Several wines are now available for purchase from the Malibu vineyard, which Estevez and his wife largely tend to themselves.
