Seventy-four years after MGM’s iconic musical "The Wizard of Oz," Disney’s $200 million prequel, "Oz the Great and Powerful" (114 mins., PG), opens this weekend. It banks on the "take a classic and add a few twists" approach, but Oz fans will finally get the answer to their burning question: How did the Wizard become so great and so powerful?
